Beans & Pakodi Ki Sabzi / Stir Fry / Indian Side Dish



Stir fried beans with onions and Indian spices alongwith crunchy pakodis make this recipe really interesting and flavorful.



This vegetarian stir-fry is a great way to use green beans when they're in season. This is be served as a side dish with any Indian bread ( Roti, Paratha, Poori etc).



Ingredients:-

Oil:- 2 Tbsp
Cumin seeds:- 1/2 Tsp
Garlic, minced:- 1 Tbsp
Ginger, minced:- 1 Tbsp
Onion:- 1/2 (chopped)
Beans(cut into small pieces):- 2 cups
Salt
Red chilli Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder:- 1 Tsp
Pakodi:- 1 Cup


Procedure:-

1) Heat oil in a non stick pan on a medium heat. When hot add cumin seeds, when they start to crackle ,add garlic and ginger, saute for 30 seconds, add onion.

2)Cook till onions are light brown in color.

3)Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder & garam masala powder, mix everything well.

4)Add beans and mix. Cook it covered until beans are completely cooked.( stir in between & use some water if required)

5)Add roasted pakodis to the beans , mix well .Cook again for 2 minutes.

Serve it with roti and any curry ...Enjoy:)
