Beans Stir Fry With Peanuts & Flax Seeds ( Moongfali Wali Phalliyaan)



French beans are cooked with spices and then tossed in slightly crushed peanuts and flaxseeds to give the unique flavor to this dish.



Ingredients:-

Oil:- 2 Tsp
Cumin seeds:- 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds:- 1 Tsp
Onion:- 1/2 (chopped)
Beans:- 2 cups(cut into pieces)
Salt
Red chilli Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder:- 1 Tsp
Slightly Crushed Peanuts:- 1/8 Cup
Flax Seed Powder:- 1 Tbsp


Procedure:-

1) Heat oil in a non stick pan on a medium heat. When hot add cumin & mustard seeds, when they start to crackle add onion.

2) Cook till onions are light brown in color.

3)Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder & garam masala powder, mix everything well.

4) Add beans and mix. Cook it covered till beans are halfway cooked.( stir in between & use some water if required)

5)Add crushed peanuts & flaxseed to the beans and keep stiring it till everything is well mixed.Cook again for 2-3 minutes.

Serve it with roti and any curry ...Enjoy:)
