Oil:- 2-3 Tsp
Asafoetida/ Hing:- A Pinch
Mustard seeds:- 1/2 Tsp
Ginger, chopped:- 1 Tsp
Garlic, chopped:- 1 Tsp
Beans, cut into small pieces:- 3 Cups
Turmeric/Haldi:- 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Unsalted Peanuts, coarsely ground:- 2 Tbsp
Flax Seed Powder:- 1 Tbsp (Optional)
Dessicated Coconut:- 1/8 Cup
1) Heat oil in a non stick pan on a medium heat. When hot add asafoetida & mustard seeds, when mustard seeds start to crackle add ginger and galic. Cook for 1 minute.
2)Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder & garam masala powder, mix everything well.
3) Add beans and mix. Cook it covered till beans are halfway cooked.( stir in between & use some water, 1 Tbsp at a time if required)
4)Add crushed peanuts, coconut & flaxseed to the beans and mix everything well.Cook again for 2-3 minutes.
Serve it with roti and any curry ...Enjoy:)
