I tasted this yummy podi/powder at my dear friend's house and when i asked for the recipe she was kind enough to share it with me.
This famous South Indain recipe is made from curry leaves,lentils & spices. You can serve this with dosa, idli or hot steamed rice and ghee.
Coriander Seeds:- 1 Cup
Cumin Seeds:- 1 Tsp
Urad dal:- 1 1/2 Tsp
A Pinch Of Asafoetida
Dry red chilli:- 5 to 7
Curry leaves:- 20 to 25
Oil:- 1/4 tsp
1) Heat oil in a small skillet.
2) When hot roast all the ingredients except Asafoetida stirring continuously.
3)Grind everything in a blender along with asadoetida.
Store it in a air tight container..
