Simple Leftover Rice Pulao Recipe


This is the best way to use leftover rice..Easy and delicious..You can make this even if you don't have any veggies on hand.Makes a great lunchbox dish too.



Ingredients:-

Leftover rice:- 1 1/2 cups-2 cups
Onion:- 1/2 Chopped
Tomato:- 1 chopped
Potato:- 1 finely sliced
Cumin seeds:- 1/2 Tsp
Mustard Seeds:- 1/2 Tsp
Oil:- 2 Tbsp
Salt
Red Chilli Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric:- 1/2 Tsp

Procedure:-

1) Heat oil in a pan, when hot add cumin and mustard seeds.When they start to crackle add potato, fry until lightly brown.

2) Add onion and fry for 1 minute, add tomato and all the spices, mix everything well. cook for 2 minutes.

3)Add the left over rice to the above tadka and mix everything well..

Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot with raita...Enjoy:)
