where do the tomato paste and anardana come in? I put the paste in with the tomatoes...And is there a substitute for the dried pomegranate powder. It sounds amazing! I used amchur. The curry turned out wonderful.

Preety said...

Hi Harbinger..

Thanks for pointing out my mistake, i updated the post..Actually you used the perfect substitute (i.e. aamchoor) for pomegranate powder.

thanks

Hi, when you say 1 cup, is it 8 ozs or is it one tea-cup full? Thanks

Preety said...

yes it is 8 oz..

Thanks. If I use canned, cooked Black-eyed peas, how many cans would work for this recipe?

Preety said...

It depends on the size of the can actually, you can try making the masala first and then add canned lobia, it will give you an idea how much you need but I think 2 or 3 cans should be good..considering they are small ones
