Simple Pancake Recipe


I know everyone must have their simple and basic pancake recipe..but i wanted to share this recipe for those who don't have one..This is really simple and foolproof recipe, never disappointed me once..It was written in my recipe book but i am not sure about the source..Great for quick kids breakfast..Top it with any of your favorite toppings( Honey, Maple syrup,Melted Chocolate,Fruits,Cheese list is endless be creative) and enjoy


Ingredients:-

Eggs:- 2
Milk:- 1 1/4 Cup
Vanilla:- 2 Tsp
Butter:- 3 Tbsp
All Purpose Flour:- 1 1/2 Cup
Salt:- 3/4 Tsp
Baking Powder:- 2 Tsp
Sugar:- 2 Tbsp




Procedure:-

1)Mix all the ingredients in a food processor to make a thick batter.Let it rest for 15 minutes.

2)Heat a non stick pan on a medium heat.

3)Pour 1/3 cup of batter on a pan.Cook until bubbly and lightly browned on the bottom

4)Turn and brown the other side.

Enjoy:)

Awesome recipe! I just ate pancakes this morning and I still have left overs here to eat. Although my sister made a much fluffier one. It tasted more like marshmallow if you ask me. I noticed her mix wasn't thick enough for a pancake.

Honey:- you don't need to put water..you can use normal drinking milk ...

Thank you so much for this recipe. The pancakes turned out perfect!! Used 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar though. They were so soft, spongy and delicious with golden syrup :)
