Condensed Milk Biscuits



These lovely biscuits, are great for a coffee-time nibble, and can be baked with or without chocolate chips.



Source here

Butter, slightly softened:- 220 gram
Sugar:- 1/2 cup
Sweetened condensed milk :- 1/3 cup
Vanilla extract :- 1 Tsp
All Purpose Flour:-2 1/4 cup
Baking powder:-2 Tsp
Chocolate Chips:- 2/3 cup (optional)





Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Cream butter and sugar together.
  3. Beat in condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Add flour and baking powder, stir until combined.
  5. Knead into a ball. If you're using optional choc chips, knead it in now, mixing well.
  6. Roll dough into small balls and place on oven trays.
  7. To decorate, press each ball gently with a fork
  8. Bake for about 12 minutes until the edges are straw colored.
  9. Let it cool on a rack.
