Ingredients:-
Besan/Gram flour:- 2 cups
Oil:- 3 tbsp
Cumin powder:- 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder:- 1 tbsp
Salt:- 1/2 tsp
Black or Red pepper powder:- 1 tsp or 1/2 tsp
Turmeric:- 1/2 tsp
Ajwain Powdered:- 1/4 tsp
Hing/Asfatoieda :- Pinch
Water for Mixing:- as per requirement
Peanuts:- 1/2 cup ( or more if you like)
Whole garlic:- 2 (OPTIONAL)
Curry leaves:- 3 or 4
Procedure:-
Sieve together Besan, cumin & coriander Powder , salt,Pepper powder, Turmeric, Ajwain powder & hing in a bowl..and then add 3 tbsp of oil and water bit by bit to make a thick paste/dough ( It should have thick consistency not running ) and then pour some (about 1/2 cup) in the Cookie Press and close it and pour the batter slowly in a circling manner over the hot oil and fry until golden brown..or if you don't have the Cookie Press at home you can use the plastic freezer bag and cut a small hole in the corner and squeeze the dough( in this case dough should be little bit more soft) in spiral shape in the hot oil..
After frying all the sev..Heat 2 tbsp oil in another pan and fry the peanuts and add then crushed garlic and curry leaves along with all the sev you prepared earlier and mix evrything well..(THIS STEP IS OPTIONAL)
NOTE:- If you want to make thin sev then sieving all the ingredients together before starting is very important

Great recipe and it reminds me of when we made a lot of them at home a couple of years back.
