Sooji Khoya Ladoo

I had some leftover khoya in my fridge so i thought of making sooji ladoo and it came out pretty good. But if you don't have khoya and wish to prepare simple sooji ke ladoo then please refer this recipe.

Ingredients:-

Sooji/Semolina:- 1 Cup
Khoya:- 1 Cup
Sugar:- 1 Cup (please adjust quantity as per your taste)
Ghee:- 1/2 Cup
Elaichi/Cardamom powder:- 1 Tsp

Procedure:-

1)Heat ghee in a kadai/pan, fry sooji until changes color.
2)Fry khoya in a separate pan.
3)Mix sooji and khoya together in a bowl. Let it cool little bit.
4)Add sugar and cardamom powder to the above mixture, mix everything well and immediately make the ladoos.

Note:-

While adding sugar ,Sooji and khoya mixture should be warm but not hot otherwise the sugar will melt and also it should not be cooled completely. In both cases you won't be able to make the ladoos.( So you need to be very careful at this step)
To make ladoos take little bit of mixture in your hand and press it between your palms slowly while making a small circle. In case your mixture is not warm enough to make a ladoo then you can try adding little bit of warm ghee to the mixture.
Enjoy:)
