Rajma/Red Kidney Beans Masala
Rajma Masala served with hot rotis , curd/raita and salad makes a yummy and healthy meal.This is a signature dish of North India
Ingredients:-
Oil:- 3 Tsp
Cumin seeds:- 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds:- 1/2 Tsp
Garlic:- 2 (chopped)
Ginger:- 1 Tsp
Onion:- 1/2 (finely chopped)
Tomato:- 1 (chopped)
Salt as per taste
Turmeric:- 1 Tsp
Red chilli powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala:- 1 Tsp
Rajma/Red Kidney Beans:- 3 cups (boiled & drained)
Coriander powder:- 1 Tsp
Cumin powder;- 1 Tsp
Kasoori Methi powder:- 1 Tsp
Coriander leaves for garnish
Procedure:-
) Heat oil in a pan , when hot add cumin and mustard seeds, when they start to crackle add garlic & ginger.
2) Add onions and cook until golden brown
3) Add tomato, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala and mix everything well and cook until tomatoes are tender.
4)Add boiled Rajma/red kidney beans to the masala and mix everything well.
5)Add coriander powder,cumin powder, kasoori methi powder and cook for couple of minutes.
Garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy:)
