Start by grinding the nuts (with or without skins), in a food processor until they are fine powder.Next, add some oil-stick with canola or peanut oil since olive oil imparts the wrong flavor-and a bit of salt if you like. But go easy on sugar.Unlike store-bought jars, homemade peanut butter doesn't need too much sweetness ( though you can squeeze in a tablespoon of honey if desired). To give your nut butter even more flavor, toast the nuts in a skillet until they are golden brown before grinding.Once your mixture is as creamy as you like, put it in a jar( a glass one will work, but you can also use an old plastic peanut butter container that has been completely cleaned) and store it in the fridge to prevent oil separation. You should eat it within about two weeks.
Why You Should Make Your Own:- There are many reasons to do so: taste, nutrition and safety. Almost all of the commercial peanut butters contain added sugar, salt, oils, and often preservatives. Home-made peanut butter is not only healthier, is also tastes much better! You can also make organic peanut butter using organic ingredients.

2)Peanut butter can be added in smoothies, spread it on veggies apples and sandwiches or use in baking .Oh, and I like to eat it with a spoon sometimes too!:)
3)You can add whatever flavors you want to it. I made some plain and some chocolate too.
4)For a spicier peanut butter , add 1/2 tsp chilli powder to the ingredients.
To Make crunchy peanut butter, before you start measure a 1/3 cup of the roasted peanuts then add to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse 8 – 10 times until peanuts are chopped into very small pieces. Transfer chopped peanuts to a bowl and reserve for later. Then once you have made the peanut butter, stir reserved peanuts into peanut butter.
To Make Almond Peanut Butter :- Combine equal amount of almond and peanut alongwith salt ,oil & honey and follow the same process as above.
