Dahi Wale Aloo/ Potato in Yougurt Gravy
It's a really easy potato gravy, curd gives it a real nice tangy flavor and this dish can be made under 30 minutes..
Ingredients:-
Oil:- 3-4 Tbsp
Ginger:- 1 Tsp ( finely chopped)
Garlic:- 2 (finely chopped)
Cumin seeds:- 1/2 Tsp
Mustard seeds;- 1/4 Tsp
Asafoetida- A pinch
Onion:- 1/2 (Chopped)
Tomatoes:- 2 small chopped
Curd:- 1/4 cup (beaten well)
Turmeric Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Salt as per taste
Kasoori Methi Powder:- 1/2 Tsp
Potato :- 2 big or 3 small ( boiled and cut into pieces)
Procedure:-
1)Heat oil in a pan,add asafoetida, cumin & mustard seeds..let it splutter.
2)Add ginger & garlic and saute.
3)Add onion and cook till they are golden brown.
4) Add tomatoes, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder & garam masala , mix everything well.
5) Cook the tomato mixture for about 2-3 minutes
6)Add curd and mix everything, add potato, kasoori methi & let it cook for couple of minutes.
Serve hot with rice or chapati...enjoy:)
