Bharwa Bhidi / Stuffed Okra

This is simple and fast way to prepare Bhindi/Okra..My mom use to prepare this when we traveled..You may want to serve it as a side dish with lunch or dinner.. They are shallow fried so they don;t have too much oil if you are watching your weight.

Ingredients:-

15 Bhindi
1/2 tsp each of Salt, Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala( Mix everything in one bowl)
Oil 2 tbsp for frying

Procedure:-

1)Wash Okra and pat dry( Best is if you wash it a night before and let it dry overnight as okra should be completely dry).
2)Cut the upper part of okra and make a slit lengthwise.
3) Fill the masala in Bhindi ( about 1/4 tsp in every bhindi).
4) Take a non stick pan and heat about 2 Tbsp of oil, then place okras in the pan in one layer (cut side up).
5) Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes and then uncover and let them fry until crisp

Serve as hot as side dish ..Enjoy:)
