Eggless Vanilla Mug Cake / Single Serving Dessert



Here is a great recipe of perfect light , spongy & eggless single serving vanilla or yellow cake that you can make in a microwave in under 1 minute

Ingredients:

Flour:- 2 tbsp
Sugar:- 1 Tbsp ( or as per your taste)
Baking powder:- 1/4 Tsp
Salt:- 1/8 Tsp
Soy Milk Or Any Non Dairy Milk:- 2 Tbsp
Oil:- 3/4 Tbsp
Vanilla extract:- 1/4 Tsp




Procedure:-

1) Mix all of the dry ingredients together.

2) Now add in the milk, oil and vanilla.

3) Spray a little bit of PAM spray into your coffee mug. Pour the batter into mug.

4) Bake in microwave at high power for 50 second. If the cake is not completely cooked, bake for 15 second intervals until it is done.

Variations:-

Bake the yellow cake as per the recipe given above and when its ready, cut in half. Sprinkle some cinnamon sugar in the middle.

OR

Add in 1/4 tsp coffee (instant or regular) and 1/2 tsp cocoa to batter.

  2. Wow...that's perfectly baked...I am yet to master this microwave cooking...mine comes out rubbery..may be I cook it longer...but doesn't matter..I drench in chocolate syrup and still it's delicious...urs look perfect and can be eaten as-is

  5. I added 1/2 a grated carrot and 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice to mine. I also subbed water for the milk (I was out) and used 1 tbsp coconut flour + 1 tbsp rice flour to make it gluten free. Turned out great - thanks! ☺

  10. this is some of the best mug cake ice had in a while, and it is truly effortless. five stars all around. usually when I find a decent recipe I'll play around with it until I like it more, but that's gonna be hard with this one! thank you!
