Bell Pepper, Potato & Sesame Stir Fry / Til Wale Aloo Shimla Mirch Ki Sabzi / Vegan Recipe



This Bell Pepper, Potato & Sesame Stir Fry is not only super simple but super delicious too. Serve this hot as a side dish to your next meal for a real treat of eyes and tummy..



Bell Pepper, Potato & Sesame Stir Fry / Til Wale Aloo Shimla Mirch Ki Sabzi / Vegan Recipe

Cooking Time:- 15-20 Minutes

Ingredients:-

Oil :- 2 Tsp
Cumin seeds:- 1 Tsp
Mustard Seeds:- 1 Tsp
Sesame seeds:- 1/2 Tbsp
Potato:- 1 medium, cut into strips
Green Bell Pepper:- 1 medium,cut into strips
Yellow Bell Pepper:- 1 medium,cut into strips
Red Bell Pepper:- 1 medium,cut into strips
Salt and sugar as per taste
Red chilli powder:- 1 Tsp
Turmeric Powder:- 1 Tsp
Garam Masala Powder:- 1 Tsp
Soya Sauce:- 1 Tbsp

Procedure:-

1)Heat oil on a medium heat in a non stick pan, when hot add cumin mustard and sesame seeds.

2)When seeds start to crackle add bell peppers & potato.

3)Cook it uncovered until half done (about 5 minutes)

4)Add salt,sugar,red chilli powder, turmeric powder,garam masala & soya sauce, mix it well.

6)Cook it again uncovered until done ( for about 5-8 minutes)

Serve it hot as a side dish with roti/indian bread and curry

Notes:-

1) Try to cut all the veggies same size so that they can cook evenly.

2) Make sure not to cover the pan while cooking to preserve the original colors of the veggies.

3) You can make this stir fry without potato too , or just with one colored bell pepper ( Use green bell pepper if making with single color ). I used all the colors and cut it into thin strips so that it looks more appealing to my little ones and they loved it..
