Semolina/Sooji/Suji Ke Toast (A Healthy Quick Snack)
Sooji/Semolina mixed with variety of veggies of your choice and topped on bread slice makes a great quick healthy snack..If you like you can toast the bread in the oven before and follow the same recipe to get a crunchier toast.
Ingredients:-
Semolina/Sooji:- 1 Cup
Curd:- 1 Cup
Bread- 2-3 slices
Onion(finely chopped):- 2 Tbsp
Coriander leaves:- 2 Tbsp
Green Chillies:- 1or 2(chopped)
Carrot (Grated):- 1/8 cup
salt
Garam Masala:- 1/4 Tsp
Chaat Masala:- 1/4 Tsp
Turmeric powder:- 1/4 Tsp
Oil for frying
Procedure:-
1)Cut the bread slices in the desired shape and set aside.
2)In a mixing bowl mix everything to make a thick batter.( Add water if needed).
3) Dip the bread in batter and apply the mixture on both sides.
4)Heat the oil in a pan and place the bread slice on it.Cook both sides of the bread until golden & crisp
Serve hot with Chutney or Tomato Sauce..Enjoy:)
