Kele Ki Poori/ Indian Banana Bread

Banana Poori is a great alternative to make instead of usual pooris..Kids love them as they are sweet in taste..I like to add 1/8 cup of sugar which gives it just enogh sweetness not overpowering the taste..They make a great lunchbox dish for kids too

Ingredients:-

Whole Wheat Flour:- 1 1/2 Cups
All purpose Flour:- 1 Cup
Banana - 1 (Mashed)
Pinch of salt
Sugar;- 1/8 cup
Milk:- 1/2 Cup (warm) or more if required.

Procedure:-

1) Mix all the ingredients except milk, add milk slowly to make a stiff dough.

2) Heat a oil in a deep frying pan ( kadai) on high heat.

3)Now make a lime size ball from the dough and roll each into a small circles with rolling pin .( This dough can become little sticky due to the addition of banana so you can take the small dough ball and place it over the food wrap , brush some oil over the ball and make a small circle by pressing it with hands.)

4)Deep fry poori's in hot oil for a minute, turn side & fry until golden in color

Serve hot or at room temperature..Enjoy:)
