Make your pasta more healthy by adding this yummy spinach sauce.I got inspiration for this sauce from my palak poori recipe ...You can add any other nut of your choice instead of almonds.
Ingredients:-
Pasta:- 3 Cups (Any pasta of your choice)
Spinach:- 1 bag (you can actually adjust the quantity according to taste)
Almonds:- 20-30 pieces ( Roast them lightly in oven or in a pan)
Garlic:- 2-3
Tomato:- 1 1/2 small (chopped)
Parmesan Cheese:- 1/8 cup
Salt as per taste
Procedure:-
1) Boil the pasta as per package direction and set it aside..(drain all the water)
2) In a mixer grinder , grind spinach, almonds garlic, tomato parmesan chees and salt together into a fine paste.
3) Cook this mixture in a pan for 4-5 minutes and then add pasta ( i usually cook for other 5 miutes after adding pasta but its optional).
Serve it hot with a little sprinkle of parmesan cheese on top..Enjoy:)
